Australia is one of the best countries one can visit. It has several key cities like Blue Mountains, Newcastle and Sydney.

Blue Mountains is a place located in New South Wales in Australia. This is around 100 kilometres from Sydney. This is approximately 1436 square kilometres with a population of 73,671 as of 2001 census. Big part of Blue Mountain town is declared as part of the Greater Blue Mountain Area World Heritage Site. Unlike what the name suggests, this place is not a mountain range. Instead, this is composed of cliffs that surround a plateau.

Blue Mountain’s climate is usually 7oCelsius lower than that of Sydney’s. This is because there is a drop of 2oCelsius for every 300 metres increase in altitude, and Mount Victoria is approximately over 1000 metres above sea level. Aside from the place’s temperate climate, guests are coming over to witness the different festivals being held in the city. Guests love the 3-day Blue Mountains Folk Music Festival wherein several artists from Australia and all over the world perform music such as acoustic folk, world music and jazz. Another festival is the Blue Mountains Fine Food Festival. As the name implies, this is about a weekend of eating delicious food and wine collection.
